Caving is the fifth and final mission in Cracker’s story. In exchange for Cracker locating and acquiring the Bomb, the Scientist reveals that the Nemesis has taken the briefcase to Tora Bora to sell to Lafoushini as part of a CIA operation. Nasara dispatches Cracker to preempt the exchange, dispatch the Nemesis, and retake the briefcase.

Strategy

Cracker begins the mission with a Chopper and a unique, otherwise-unobtainable suppressed Brescia 92. Players can complete most of the mission stealthily if they avoid or kill the terrorists and livestock; goats and chickens will raise the alarm if Cracker gets too close.

Get close to the house

Enter the sewer pipe

Cracker can enter the house via the sewer or by climbing the sandbags onto the ground floor or jumping directly into the house’s second floor from a post.

Get Into the house

Search the house

If Cracker raises the alarm before he reaches the second floor, Lafoushini’s men will attempt to detonate the tunnel entrance. However, the explosion won’t kill Cracker or fully obstruct the entrance.

Enter the cave

Locate the Nemesis

Cracker must proceed through the cave until he finds a ramp leading upward. He can peek through the bars and kill the four terrorists in the room below, then climb down the ladder and open the door into the Nemesis’s stronghold. After he opens the door, the Nemesis will detonate another booby trap and raise the alarm.

Eliminate the Nemesis

Cracker’s Nemesis has substantial health; players can use the doorway for cover, dumping Chopper magazines into him until he falls, then finishing him quickly with Cracker’s secondary Glizzy.

Retrieve the briefcase

The Nemesis drops the briefcase upon his death.

Exilfrate

Cracker can take the door on the left, eliminate Lafoushini for the CIA, and collect the two million dollar bounty on his head or take the door on the right, kill the CIA agents, and escape.

If Cracker pursues Lafoushini:

Go after Lafoushini

A number of terrorists and two Mounted MGs separate Cracker from Lafoushini; players should make short work of them in the close quarters of the cave.

Eliminate Lafoushini

Get out

Take the cash

A few CIA agents meet with Cracker and offer him a cash reward. Once he picks up the bag , he can escape by helicopter.

Eliminate the agents */5

Undercover CIA agents try to kill Cracker as he heads toward the escape. He must eliminate all of them before he can reach the helicopter.

Consequences

Completing this mission ends Cracker’s story and unlocks the achievement Cracked the Jack. Cracker offers to join Baker’s crew and is automatically promoted to the maximum level, but he keeps the CIA bounty for himself. If Cracker fails or ignores the mission, he dies, and his story ends.
