Dish Order is the third mission in Cracker’s story. After Cracker acquires the Wolf B’s flight recorder data, the Scientist sends him to infiltrate a satellite facility and scan the jet’s flight path to narrow down the location of the Bomb.
Strategy
Cracker can land near the cliff edge as Nasara recommends or
wait a skosh and land directly on the facility’s roof—a safer and faster route into the facility. If he waits too long and lands by the gatehouse, the Contras there will spot him and raise the alarm.
Enter the building
If Cracker lands on the roof, he can proceed down the staircase and into the facility. Otherwise, he should sneak past the Contras and cameras outside and enter the facility from the ground.
Inside are several Contras, civilians, and satellite workers; Cracker can take out the soldiers with his Brescia 92 S and shout down (or kill) the civilians as well.
Set up the laptop
The laptop hack will raise the alarm after a few seconds if Cracker hasn’t already.
Protect the laptop 3:00
Waves of troops will storm the facility and attempt to interrupt the scan. Cracker can either hunker down near the laptop, using desks and pillars as cover, or take the staircase to the roof and
defend the laptop through the skylights’ narrow aperture. He can replenish his ammunition using the crates around the area:
On the roof beside the staircase; In the conference room; and Beside the window bay on the facility floor.
Pick up the laptop
Jump off the cliff
Cracker can circumvent most of the enemies by returning to the roof and descending the ladder, then sprinting the short remaining distance to the cliff edge.
Consequences
Completing this mission allows Nasara to locate the Bomb—buried in the Arctic circle; he sends Cracker to excavate it for the Scientist. If Cracker fails or ignores the mission, he dies, and his story ends.
Trivia
- The mission name “Dish Order” is a pun on “disorder.”
