The Predator is the second mission in Chase’s story. After he arrives in Rockay City, Chase plans to trade the cocaine he smuggled in for weapons and documentation. Nasara sends Eduardo to make the exchange with the East Men and Jake, Martinez, and Chase to provide backup.

Strategy

Get upstairs

The trade falls through after an explosion rocks the building and something beheads Eduardo. The East Men—five downstairs and four on the stairs—become hostile toward Chase and the Graves, but Chase’s Rifle and his YA-R3K make short work of them.

Enter the room

The wall explodes next to Jake, but he survives.

Get in

There may be one more East Man alive in the room.

Get the papers

Take the guns

Get out

An East Man surprises Chase on the staircase, along with a demonic jump scare.

Wait for the escape van 2:00

Chase’s YA-R3K does significantly more damage per second than his rifle, because the rifle is much slower to reload; however, it has lower ammo pickup. Players should switch between the two to hold back the waves of police officers.

Thirty seconds before the escape van reaches Chase, SWAT officers will arrive, including from the alley opposite the apartment entrance. Hiding out in the entrance to The Bad Scout Pizza is safest, but offers few options for retreat.

Time to escape

Consequences

If Chase escapes, he offers to join Baker’s crew and the player unlocks the achievement Ding Dong. If the player fails or ignores the mission, Chase dies.
