Ring for a Train is a mission in Train Robbery, part of the plot line. Gloves’s police contact wants an engagement ring in return for information on the train, so Baker decides to steal it.

Strategy

The store layout is identical to a standard Jewelry Heist, but heisters don’t need to steal anything except the ring.

Consequences

Completing the mission successfully lets Gloves trade the ring for the information and begin planning the heist.

If Baker fails the mission, Gloves allows him one more attempt before he demands that Baker buy the ring instead from Larry the Jeweler. Each failure increases the chance that Hielo’s gang will also attempt to rob the train.
