Origins

Cagnali’s Order was first announced in an HTML comment on the Cagnali Industries website, encoded using a Caesar cipher with a rightward shift of one.

Freedom is overrated—not suitable for humans. Humanity needs order. Cagnali Industries reveals its true faces on May twenty-first, nineteen ninety-four, during a world-wide broadcast. This will be the beginning of the new order: Cagnali’s Order.
